A Place called Abtenau
If you like adventure and fun, surely you would like this little village called Abtenau. We are students of ITH 45, Klessheim who got a chance to visit this little village for Internship Program. Lucky us!!!! Very fascinating we thought when we arrived in Abtenau to see the SKI Slopes and the excited people gliding away in the snow.
If you are in Austria at any time be sure to catch a train and take a little trip to this well reserved and quiet area of Salzburg. I am sure you will be just as impressed as us. Don’t forget to visit the farmers market where you can enjoy fresh home made bread, cheese and even fresh pork and other fresh meat. A wide variety of vegetables are sold and trust me you won’t be able to resist their beautiful colour.
If you get lost, don’t worry, the kind villagers will assist you in finding your way with a great smile and even sometimes a personal escort. Walk on over to the Tourism Information Center where you can get all the schedules for events and activities in the village. TRY THEM ALL, it is worth it and Sandra will be sure to make sure you do. It will be worth your while.
So take the trip and have fun. And when your done tell everyone. And remember you got this great news from Stacy (from Nevis) and Nilton (from Cape Verde).

Morgen geht es los! Vom 29. bis 31. Januar findet in Dresden der Dresdner ReiseMarkt - die zweitgrößte und beliebteste Touristik-Messe Ostdeutschlands statt. Bereits heute haben sich Stefan vom Tourismusverband Abtenau und Herbert und Barbara vom Edhof auf den Weg nach Dresden gemacht, um ab morgen am Stand B61 in Halle 1 die Neuigkeiten aus dem Lammertal zu präsentieren. Und für treue Stammgäste gibt es einen guten Tropfen – natürlich nach einem alten Hausrezept gebrannt…
